Literature Text

Sorry I left you, that day,
Sorry I was gone,
The dusky clouds whisked me away,
I rode back with the dawn.

I dance now on an ocean mist,
I slip among the trees,
Though my body may be sorely missed,
I am rustling through the leaves.

I’m so sorry I left you behind,
But see what I’ve become,
When I hold you now you’ll feel the wind,
Where there once was none.
I had to write an Epitaph for a Lit project. I thought instead of just a "I'm dead now" I'd give something to chew on. Here it is.
